Mount Carmel Guild accepts donations of food, hygiene and self-care products, paper products, diapers, batteries, books and toys. Individuals and/or groups may organize various drives throughout the year for food, back-to-school supplies, children summer gears such as sunscreen and towels or winter coats.
They may also contribute hours to our food pantry by retrieving food and other items from suppliers, help with administrative tasks and themed Holiday Programs such as our Thanksgiving meal distribution and Christmas Toy Shop.

Mount Carmel Guild is proud to announce that its strong financial health and ongoing accountability and transparency has earned a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator. This rating designates us an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating that the organization is using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria.
Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most utilized independent charity evaluator. Since 2001, the Charity Navigator has been an unbiased and trusted source of information for more than 11 million donors annually.
Charity Navigator analyzes non-profit performance based on four key indicators, referred to as beacons. Currently, non-profits can earn scores for the Impact and Results, Accountability and Finance, Culture and Community, and Leadership and Adaptability beacons.

Mount Carmel Guild is a platinum-level Candid participant, demonstrating our commitment to transparency.
The organization, Candid was formed in 2019 when GuideStar and Foundation Center merged. Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Candid finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters.
Through research, collaboration, and training, Candid connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to do it.
